The Farris Agency was formed in 1903 by Guy R. Farris, in Conway, and has exclusively provided only insurance products and services to customers all over Arkansas and the surrounding states. Our insurance agency is one of Arkansas’ oldest agencies and represents some of the largest, most competitive insurance companies in the nation.
The Farris Agency offers Automobile, Homeowners, Business, Professional, Life, Health, Accident, Disability and Bonds to its customers through all of its licensed insurance agents.
Our History — “Three Generations”
The Farris Agency was established in 1903 by its founder, Guy R. Farris. The retail insurance agency is one of the oldest active insurance agencies in the state of Arkansas. In 1949, William J. Farris joined the ranks of the insurance business. He developed new policies and services to be better tailored to the growing community’s needs. William J. Farris, Jr., continued the legacy of Farris’ as he joined the agency in 1976. Farris, Jr. further broadened the scope of product and service that the agency’s customers have grown to know. After working at the Farris Agency for several years, Alan White & Travis Mulhearn continued the tradition of the agency being locally owned and operated when they purchased it in 2007
